Materials and thickness

We cut clear, coloured, frosted, mirrored and specialty acrylic sheet, with thicknesses up to 20mm. Laser cutting leaves a smooth, flame-polished edge on cast acrylic, so most parts need no further finishing. Acrylic can also be engraved in the same run, which is ideal for logos, text and layered signs.

Supplying your design

Vector files (SVG, AI or PDF) give the cleanest result, but a sketch, photo or rough drawing with dimensions is fine too. We check your file before cutting and let you know if anything needs adjusting. For combined cutting and engraving, or larger batches, contact us for a free quote.

How thick can you laser cut acrylic?

Up to 20mm. Thinner sheet (3–6mm) suits most signs, displays and craft work.

Can you cut my own acrylic?

Get in touch first. We can often work with customer-supplied sheet, as long as it is genuine acrylic (PMMA) and not polycarbonate or PVC, which cannot be laser cut safely.

Do you only cut acrylic for Brisbane customers?

No. We are based in Brisbane and ship acrylic laser cutting orders right across Australia.
