This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases from us, unless stated otherwise.
1️⃣ Customer Satisfaction is Our Priority
At Tinkable, customer satisfaction is our priority.
We offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Policy.
Any benefits set out in this Policy apply in addition to a consumer's rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please read this Policy before making a purchase, so you understand your rights and what to expect from us if you are not happy with your purchase.
2️⃣ Australian Consumer Law
(a) Under the Australian Consumer Law:
- Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
- For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your contract and receive a refund for the unused portion.
- You are entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
- If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have it rectified in a reasonable time.
(b) We offer refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
(c) If there is an inconsistency between this Policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.
3️⃣ Change of Mind
If you simply change your mind, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund or exchange provided that:
- You notify us within 30 days of receipt.
- The product is unused, unopened, undamaged and returned in its original packaging with the receipt.
- The service has not already been performed.
Note: Due to hygiene reasons, any wearable products designed to be worn on a person or animal (e.g., earrings, dog collars) cannot be refunded or exchanged if you simply change your mind.
4️⃣ Products Damaged During Delivery
If a product arrives damaged:
- Please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the damage.
- Return the product in the same condition and packaging as received.
- We will repair, replace, or refund the product if you contact us within 7 days of receiving it.
5️⃣ Exceptions
We may refuse to provide a repair, replacement or refund if:
- The product was misused and caused the problem.
- You were aware of the issue before purchase.
- You requested a service or alteration against our advice.
- Any other exceptions under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
6️⃣ Shipping Costs for Returns
- If the product fails to meet Consumer Guarantees, we will bear return shipping costs and replacement shipping costs.
- If the product can easily be posted, please arrange return shipping — we’ll reimburse reasonable postage if eligible.
- If the product is too large or heavy, we’ll arrange collection at our cost if eligible under this Policy.
- If inspection shows the product is not eligible for refund/replacement, you’ll need to cover associated shipping costs.
7️⃣ Assistance from Manufacturers
Some manufacturers may provide warranties or direct support that can resolve your issue faster. You’re welcome to contact them, but you are not required to do so.
8️⃣ Response Time
We aim to process any refund, repair or replacement requests within 7 business days of receiving them.
9️⃣ How to Return Products
To arrange a return, please contact us using the details below. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment unless otherwise agreed.

- You may be required to show valid photo ID.

🔟 International Customers
For customers outside Australia (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, Malaysia):
- International returns must be pre-approved by contacting info@tinkable.com.au.
- Return shipping and any customs fees are the responsibility of the customer unless the product arrived damaged or defective.
- Refunds will be processed in the original payment currency.
