What started as a passion for creating custom stencils has grown into a family of precision laser services. At Tinkable, we aren't just cutting materials; we are helping you leave your mark with absolute accuracy.
A Family Journey of 10.5 Years
Tinkable is a proudly Australian owned and operated family business, but our story didn't begin in a workshop. It was forged through over a decade of service in the Australian Defence Force.
My silent business partner served for 10.5 years, and I was by his side as a Defence spouse through every posting, every deployment, and every challenge that life threw our way. That decade taught our family the true meaning of resilience, adaptability, and the high stakes of "attention to detail." We’ve brought that military-grade discipline from the barracks to the Brisbane workshop.
Our Brisbane Workshop
Operating from our workshop at Eatons Hill in north Brisbane, we bring manufacturing back home. We specialise in five core services, each driven by the same standard of excellence we lived by for over ten years:
- Stencils: Custom logos, lettering, and murals cut from high-quality 7.5mil (0.19mm) and 14mil (0.35mm) Mylar, with a 50mm overspray border as standard, up to 1400mm wide and continuous in length.
- Laser Cutting: Professional results in acrylic, wood, and custom materials for signage and prototypes.
- Laser Engraving: Precision engraving for glassware, awards, plaques, and personalised keepsakes.
- UV Laser Engraving: Cold marking on heat-sensitive materials, coated and anodised metals, glass and leather, plus serial numbers, QR codes and data marking.
- Labels & Stamps: Durable electrical tags, traffolyte labels, and custom stamps for electricians and contractors who need gear that lasts.
Tinkable is an Australian stencil manufacturer specialising in custom stencils, Mylar stencils, logo stencils, coffee stencils, industrial marking stencils, lettering stencils and large-format wall stencils. Operating from Eatons Hill in north Brisbane, Queensland, we design and manufacture reusable laser-cut stencils for businesses, artists, trades, event organisers and government organisations across Australia. We have been trading since February 2023.
