Turn Your Logo Into a Stencil
Need a stencil made? Send us your logo, artwork or wording and we laser cut it into a reusable stencil in our Brisbane workshop — proofed before cutting, shipped tracked Australia-wide and to New Zealand. No setup fees, no minimum order, and you deal directly with the people cutting it.
How it works
1. Send your logo. Upload it on the custom stencil page — JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, SVG, or even a clear photo. It does not need to be “stencil-ready”; that is our job.
2. We make it stencil-safe. Enclosed shapes — the middle of an O, A, 8, or a counter in your logo — would fall out when cut, so we add small bridges that hold them in place while keeping the character of your artwork. You see exactly where every bridge sits on a free digital proof within 1–2 business days, and nothing is cut until you approve it.
3. Cut, packed, shipped. Laser cut and dispatched within 2 business days of your approval, tracked, with free shipping on orders over $99. See delivery & turnaround for transit times to your city.
Will my logo work as a stencil?
Almost always, yes. Three things decide it:
- Enclosed shapes need bridges — we add them and show you on the proof. This is why a stencil font looks the way it does, and why we prepare your artwork rather than just cutting it blind. More detail in how we turn a logo into a reusable stencil.
- Fine detail — strokes and gaps thinner than about 1.8mm do not survive handling and cleaning, so we thicken them slightly and flag every change on your proof.
- Gradients and photos — a stencil is solid-or-open, so shading is converted to clean line art. Logos with solid shapes translate best; we will tell you honestly if yours needs simplifying.
Materials and sizes
- Commercial Mylar (0.35mm) — our standard: strong, flexible, solvent-safe, reusable dozens to hundreds of times.
- Mylar (0.19mm) — lighter and more flexible, for fine detail and curved surfaces.
- Polypropylene, MDF, plywood and adhesive vinyl where the job calls for them — our material comparison explains when.
One-piece stencils up to 1400mm wide and continuous in length; bigger designs are tiled across registered sheets that align on the wall. Every stencil includes a 50mm border so paint lands on the stencil, not your surface.
What does it cost?
Price is driven by sheet size and material — there are no setup or artwork fees, and artwork preparation with bridges is included. Small logo stencils start around $30; get an exact price by uploading your file to the custom stencil page, or if it is wording rather than a logo, type it into the free stencil builder and watch the price update live as you type.
