As a parent, I find myself drawing inspiration from my kids. So, here's a story: every afternoon, my eldest comes home and sits down to do their homework. While I try my best to help them, sometimes I have to let them come to the solution in their own time. This got me thinking about how I could get them excited about their Maths problems.
So, I had an idea: turn my child into a game card!
First, the details: name (who doesn't want a card named after them?), alignment (dark to bring out the Wednesday element), attributes (let's start with 10 across the board; as their report card improves, we can increase or decrease as required), and skills (let's keep them rather generic, but add a skill from playing the viola and swimming). Finally, a unique passive: unlimited growth potential. Lets top this all out with an image (which lets just say is a work in progress).

Then, I tackled the education piece. I threw their multiplication table on there, as well as a number line to help comprehension and quickly move their thoughts along when they freeze up. Then added directional arrows because they sometimes get plus and minus around the wrong way.

Blending all of this together, I had my first proof of concept. I'll work on this over the next few weeks and update as the design solidifies. If you have any ideas, leave them in the comments!
PS: I already showed them the card and they were super possessive of it! :)
